Today is a special day for the Provadia-Solnitsata team! We have placed our European Heritage Label plaque on site. We are incredibly excited and proud to be part of the community of sites that hold the European Heritage Label. This label is a testament to our shared European past, in which Solnitsata has a significant role. We are inspired to protect and share it with future generations.
Today, September 6 – the Day of the Unification of Bulgaria – the ancient archaeological site of Provadia-Solnitsata welcomed its visitors with a festive program
During the excavation of the remains of a burned Late Chalcolithic house at Provadia-Solnitsata, we discovered numerous fragments of wall plaster on which a rich red paint is still clearly visible.
At the 21st World Congress of the International Union of Prehistory and Protohistory, which took place in Poznan, Poland, Provadia-Solnica was also presented.
